I'm about to tear my hair out, i've done it all as you say but because i have window's 11 or so it doesn't show .exe or .bat etc, but i found the files put it around, but whenever i then click Webui-user it just gives me something else and nothing else, i'm trying to figure out what the problem is but i cannot for the love of me figure out whats wrong. Hotfixes doesn't help either, it jsut doesn't work! I'm actually about to go nuclear on how annoying this is.

Great walk-through and issue resolution tips! Also, if you do have to downgrade Python to 3.10 then after uninstalling from Windows you may want to delete the "venv" folder so that it is recreated to 3.10.

Edit: I am getting an error when I execute webui user bat after inserting the location of python in it with notepad.
It says:
"Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement torch==1.13.1+cu117 ( from versions: none)

I do not know if anybody can help me at all, but if someone is capable of it, please advice me what should I do

Did I miss something? it's when I try to open webui-user.bat-

fixed the issue, I was using the newer version of python (at the time 3.11 instead of 3.10)
I was still getting the error but someone posted a comment about deleting SDlocal and starting again, you don't have to do that, just delete the "venv" folder in your SDlocal and run the webui-user file.
this should go without saying but change the read path inside the webui-user folder to python 3.10.

I successfully load it but when I restart the computer. It refused to reconnect. Beside, I always have an error say The CDUA out of memmory, even I have plenty of space on my drives. Please help !
I encountered an easily fixable error after doing a fresh install of Windows complaining about a missing dll while installing the requirements for webui. Windows doesn't install the "Media Feature Pack" by default which includes the missing libraries so go to Settings, Apps. Optional Features, then Scroll til you see it. I was bashing my head into the wall for hours trying to figure this out but hope this helps anyone encountering the same error

Should Python be installed in the same folder as everything else? Like, should I put it in the SDlocal folder?
How do I get my install to use my second graphics card?
It is using my Intel UHD card which only has 128MB RAM – and I have no idea how to get it to use my Nvidia GeForce GTX instead (which, although using 3D and not CUDA, at least has 6GB RAM)!

Why do we need both GFPGAN 1.3 AND 1.V4?
Any rough estimate on how long the torch and torchvision install is taking? I've given it overnight and it's not done.
renaming the ckpt to model gave me a runtime error when running the UI. restored the name to the original and ended up putting the ckpt file in /models/stable-difusion and it ran without the errors.
there is a new Stable Diffusion 2.1 + Model: v2-1_768-ema-pruned.ckpt available, how do I install it locally?

Edit: Wasn't able to install python 3.10 on win 7 so I've upgraded to win 10 hopefully it works.
